The National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced a new certificate printing policy which states that #50,000 must be paid to print out the results .
This new policy is aimed at ensuring the integrity and security of NECO certificates, protecting against forgery and misuse.
According to NECO “the fee will help maintain the council’s database and verification processes”.
Major stakeholders have expressed mixed reactions to the new policy. While some understand the need for security measures, others argue that the fee is excessive and burdensome for candidates in this volatile economy where parents struggle to fund their children education.
