The federal government of Nigeria plans evacuation of Nigerians in Lebanon as the tension in the Middle East rises and escalates.
In a recent development shared by the special assistant to the president on social media Dada Olusegun, he called on Nigerians staying in Lebanon to contact the Nigerian mission in Lebanon for proper documentation and profiling for evacuation.
He made this known through his X handle , he said “Alert! All Nigerians in Lebanon are expected to get in touch with the Nigerian mission for profiling and documentation and subsequent evacuation.”
This decision was reached after Iran launched miriad of ballistic missiles on Israel in retaliation to the killing of the Hezbollah and Hamas leaders .
