Two security Guards of the Ivory Exclusive hotel in Gbagada had been apprehended and sentenced to two years imprisonment.
In a Judgement by Magistrate Salwu of the Lagos state Magistrates Court in Yaba, two security guards have been sentenced to two years imprisonment on an 18 count charge of stealing.
Wilfred John and Tunde Atatero , aged 32 respectively pleaded guilty to 12 of the 18 counts there were charged with as they earned 2 years jail term each because they saved the time of the court.
The convicts committed the offence at ivory Exclusive hotel , Gbagada as they connived to steal properties worth #1,920,000 from the hotel and were caught then apprehended.
The prosecutor Godwin oriabure said the offence contravened and is punishable under the section 411 of the criminal law or Lagos state, 2015.
