
As Nigeria celebrates its 64th Independence Day, Senate President Godswill Akpabio has called on Nigerians to be patient and optimistic , emphasizing that better days are ahead.
Akpabio’s message comes at a time when the country is facing various challenges, including economic difficulties and insecurity.
In a similar vein, Dr. Israel Akanji, President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, has encouraged Nigerians to sow seeds of prayers, patriotism, and service, citing Psalm 126:5-6, which promises that “those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy” . He acknowledged the country’s struggles but emphasized the importance of gratitude and trust in God.
In addition , the National Orientation Agency (NOA) also urged citizens to keep hope alive, praising Nigerians for their resilience and perseverance
