Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Evan Okoro, has raised alarm over alleged threats to her life by her estranged husband, claiming she now lives in constant fear.
In a series of emotional posts shared via her Instagram page on Wednesday, Okoro appealed to Nigerians and the authorities to come to her aid, stating that she had been receiving threats from her former partner.
“I’m living in fear… my life is in danger,” she wrote. “Please, Nigeria, help me. I am crying out with tears in my heart. I don’t want to die.”
The actress, known for her outspoken nature and bold film roles, did not mention the name of her estranged husband but expressed deep concern for her safety, saying she could no longer keep silent.
She warned that if anything happened to her, the public should hold her estranged husband responsible.
