EFCC Launch Public Complaints Desk

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has launched a Public Complaints Desk at its Zonal Directorates and Corporate Headquarters, aiming to enhance engagement with the public and ensure the swift resolution of grievances.

This development was announced in a press statement by Dele Oyewale, the EFCC’s Head of Media and Publicity, on October 16, 2024.

The initiative, led by the EFCC’s Executive Chairman, Mr. Ola Olukoyede, is designed to bridge the communication gap between the Commission and the public.


The statement reads; “The newly established Public Complaints Desk will be staffed by specially trained officers who will handle concerns from members of the public regarding any aspect of the Commission’s operations.”

Furthermore,He urged members of the public to make use of the platform to express any concerns related to the EFCC’s operations, assuring that each issue would be given appropriate attention. “The Commission has made information on how to reach the Public Complaints Desk available on its website and social media platforms,” he added.

The establishment of the Public Complaints Desk underscores the EFCC’s commitment to maintaining transparency and accountability in its operations, reinforcing its efforts to build trust with the public.
