The track, released on 18th October 2024, became the first song by an African artist to surpass 1 million streams in a single day on Spotify.
This remarkable achievement has also propelled Nigeria into the ranks of countries with over 1 million daily streams on the streaming service, becoming the 22nd country to reach this milestone.
Globally, “Piece of My Heart” made a strong debut, entering the Spotify Chart at number 90 with a total of 1.7 million streams on the day of its release. By the end of its first day, the single had garnered 2.27 million streams, setting a new benchmark for African artists on the platform.
