Mr. Macaroni Addresses Concerns Over His Whereabouts, Says He Only Took a Break From Social Media

Popular Nigerian comedian and activist, Debo Adedayo, widely known as Mr. Macaroni, has reassured fans and well-wishers of his safety after speculations arose over his sudden silence on social media.

The skit maker, who had been noticeably absent from online platforms for a while, took to his page on Monday to clarify the situation. Reacting to growing concerns about his whereabouts, he stated that he was neither missing nor in any form of danger.

“I am not missing o… and dem never born the person wey go silence me. I just took sometime off social media,” he wrote.

He further expressed gratitude to his fans for checking up on him, adding that he would be posting new content soon.

His response came after several fans and colleagues raised alarm over his absence, with some even starting hashtags such as “Where is Macaroni?”

Mr. Macaroni, who is known for using comedy to address social and political issues in Nigeria, has in the past been vocal about governance, police brutality, and human rights. His disappearance from the public space had therefore sparked fears among supporters.

Reassuring his followers, he said: “I have received a lot of messages asking about my whereabouts. I’m here. Thank you all for your concern. Most grateful.”

With this update, fans can now expect the comedian’s return to social media activities in the coming days.
