Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has extended a compassionate gesture to the families of 22 Kano athletes who tragically lost their lives in an accident earlier this year.
According to reports, the First Lady donated a total of ₦110 million to support the grieving families. The donation is aimed at providing financial relief and assistance as they continue to cope with the devastating loss of their loved ones.
The athletes, who were on their way to participate in a sporting event, died in a fatal crash that shocked the nation and left the sports community in mourning.
