2027: Register, Collect Your PVCs – BTO4PBAT2027 Urges South-West Youths

A political support group, BTO4PBAT2027, has called on youths in the South-West region of Nigeria to take proactive steps by registering and collecting their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The group, which is rallying support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid, emphasized that the active participation of young people in the electoral process is crucial for sustaining democratic values and ensuring credible leadership.

Speaking at a youth sensitization forum held in Ibadan, Oyo State, the National Coordinator of BTO4PBAT2027, Comrade Kehinde Adebayo, stressed the importance of voter awareness and early preparation. He noted that many eligible young Nigerians missed out on the 2023 elections due to late registration and failure to collect their PVCs.

“If the youths truly want to have a say in the future of this country, it begins with having the power to vote. That power lies in their PVC,” he said. “We are not only supporting President Tinubu for continuity, but we are also mobilizing young people to take ownership of the democratic process.”

The group also announced plans to launch grassroots PVC awareness campaigns across all South-West states, targeting campuses, youth centers, and local communities.

As Nigeria prepares for the 2027 elections, BTO4PBAT2027 is one of several groups actively engaging the electorate, particularly the youth demographic, which remains the largest voting bloc in the country.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is expected to announce the timetable for voter registration and the 2027 electoral calendar in the coming months.
