NBA 2K is an online basketball video game series developed by Visual Concepts based on the National Basketball Association (NBA). It is the 26th installment in the NBA 2K series and is the successor to NBA 2K24 (2023). The game was released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on September 6, 2024.
Afrobeats star, Asake featured on the soundtrack with the leading single ‘Wave’ from his latest album alongside ten other global artists.
The soundtrack also featured music artists like Peezy, Harper, Lil Yee and others.
The list was released on the official NBA 2k website where Asake’s Wave appeared as the only Nigerian track by a Nigerian artist to be featured on the 2K25 soundtrack.
Asake successfully joins music sensation stars, Adekunle Gold, Seun Kuti and Burna Boy as Nigerian artist to ever be featured on the popular NBA 2k soundtrack album.
