Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare has opened up on why he decided to sign for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Arokodare sealed a permanent move to Molineux from Belgian Pro League side KRC Genk on transfer deadline day.
The 24-year-old, who had been linked with several European clubs, said playing in the Premier League has always been a dream of his. He made his debut for Wolves at the weekend in their clash against Newcastle United at St James’ Park.
Speaking on the move, Arokodare revealed he wasted no time in accepting the offer once the Premier League side showed concrete interest.
“When Wolverhampton became concrete, I didn’t hesitate for a second. No one had to convince me. Everyone also knew I absolutely wanted to go to the Premier League,” the Super Eagles forward told Belgian outlet HLN.
