The record-keeping body made its stance clear, stating that it does not monitor such activities.
Numerous people have partaken in the GWR, with Notable Guinness World Record holders from Nigeria like Hilda Baci for the longest cooking marathon and largest jollof rice pot, Tunde Onakoya for the longest chess marathon, Bayo Omoboriowo for the largest photo book, Fola David for the largest drawing on a canvas, Stephen Keshi for the youngest AFCON winner as player/coach, and many others.
The proposed attempt gained significant online traction after Mandy Kiss announced her intentions on Instagram this past Monday. She revealed a plan to undertake the controversial feat on October 30, sparking widespread shock and disbelief among social media users.
To promote the event, the influencer shared a flier that featured the official GWR logo. According to the flier, the event was scheduled to take place in Ikorodu, Lagos, although a specific venue was never disclosed. The stated goal was to engage with “100 men” within a 24-hour period.
