Veteran Nollywood actress Bimbo Akintola has opened up about her personal life, addressing lingering questions about her marital status and childlessness at 52. In a heartfelt interview with PulseNG, Akintola shared that her single status wasn’t entirely by choice, but shaped by life’s circumstances and her strong values around love and commitment.
The actress revealed she once found someone she genuinely believed she would spend forever with, but unfortunately, he passed away. Since then, she has yet to meet another person who fits her definition of a true life partner.
“I don’t have children, unfortunately,” Akintola said. “Marriage is important. It’s something you do in the house of God. You go to church, call everyone that loves you and say those vows that you’ll cherish for the rest of your life.”
