Edo Govt to Develop Riverine Communities — Deputy Governor
The deputy governor of Edo State, Dennis Idahosa, has assured that the Monday Okpebholo-led administration will prioritise the development of riverine communities in the state. Speaking on Wednesday during the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign rally ahead of Saturday’s Ovia federal constituency bye-election in Inikorogha, Ovia South West Local Government Area, Idahosa said the government was committed to spreading sustainable development across all parts of the state.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Friday Aghedo, Idahosa urged residents to support and be patient with the nine-month-old administration, which he said had “hit the ground running” since its inauguration. Adorned in the community’s traditional regalia, the deputy governor described Inikorogha as a peace-loving community that had always stood by him politically and otherwise.
