Actress Yetunde Barnabas recently addressed backlash from social media users who questioned her decision to use a stroller for her 3-year-old daughter while vacationing in Europe.
She shared adorable moments from her holiday, but a few comments focused on her child being in a stroller with some users suggesting the little girl was too old for it.
Responding via her Instagram page , Yetunde firmly defended her parenting decision and expressed disappointment over what she described as unnecessary bullying targeted at a toddler.
“I’m not that gentle when it comes to my child,” she wrote. “You people bullying a 3-year-old because of a stroller are really shameless.”
The actress explained that using a stroller is not only practical but necessary, especially when planning to move around or shop for extended hours. She questioned when it became wrong for toddlers to use strollers and challenged critics who hide behind emojis or masked comments.
“Don’t hide under emojis to drop silly comments. I’ll respond in a way you won’t like,” she added. “If you travel with your own child, feel free to carry them on your head.”
Yetunde made it clear she wouldn’t entertain negative energy and would not hesitate to block anyone disrespecting her or her child. She ended her message with a sharp goodbye: “Bye Felicia. Peace and love.”
Despite the criticism, many fans praised her for standing her ground and prioritizing her child’s comfort proving that every parent knows what’s best for their child.
