Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has declared that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is now fully repositioned and moving at what he described as “supersonic speed” towards reclaiming power in the 2027 general elections.
Speaking during a media interaction, Governor Fintiri expressed optimism that the opposition party has regained its strength and is strategically preparing to present a formidable front in the coming polls.
He emphasized that the PDP had learned vital lessons from past challenges and was now better equipped to meet the yearnings of Nigerians.
“The PDP has been repositioned and is moving at supersonic speed. We are united, and we are ready for 2027,” Fintiri stated. He assured party supporters that the PDP would focus on internal unity, grassroots mobilization, and a clear agenda for national development, insisting that Nigerians are yearning for effective leadership and good governance which the PDP is ready to provide.
Governor Fintiri, who also serves as a prominent voice within the party, called on members to remain steadfast and committed to the PDP’s vision, stressing that unity and discipline would be key to victory in 2027.
The declaration comes amid ongoing political realignments and debates over Nigeria’s future leadership, with many analysts noting that the 2027 elections may prove pivotal in reshaping the country’s political landscape.
