Nigerians uncertain over FIRS recruitment announcement

The Federal Inland Revenue Service of Nigeria announces to recruit young, skilled, and principled Nigerians as this spark uncertainties among people.

The announcement contained their intention to hire officers 1 and 11. It reads; “Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) is excited to announce upcoming opportunities for young graduates to join our team as Tax Officers (Officer I| and Officer I) in various locations across Nigeria.

We are looking for candidates with integrity and a strong desire to excel professionally, as well as those who possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills”.

The announcement about the recruitment by FIRS was made through its official account on X, formerly known as Twitter.

However, some Nigerians are skeptical about the announcement. They argue that the recruitment process has been completed and that individuals of their choice have already been hired.

The body reassures Nigerians to apply and await other information “The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) is an equal opportunity employer,we encourage all eligible candidates, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or background, to consider applying.”
