Man United winger Anthony Matheus dos santos mononymously known as Anthony has decided to leave the club during the coming January transfer window in a quest to redeem his career.
Anthony who had been instrumental for Ajax at Netherland’s Eredivise under Erik Ten Hagg seems to have fallen off with in the premier league.
He used to be one of the many promising talents produced by Brazil but things haven’t clicked at United. Anthony has registered only six goals for the club since he joined in 2022.
According to Man United addicts on X (formerly twitter) this decision to leave United was a mutual agreement between the player and the club. It was also reported that his departure from the club is affiliated with the sole aim of getting called up by the Brazilian national team for the 2026 World Cup.
