A Nigerian man has taken to social media to express his disappointment and hurt after being treated ungraciously by the mother of a young boy he had been helping. The man had paid for the boy’s WAEC and JAMB fees, which enabled him to gain admission to study Civil Engineering at the University of Ilorin.
Despite the man’s kindness, the boy’s mother instructed him not to inform his benefactor about his admission. However, the boy defied his mother’s instructions and told the man, who was overjoyed by the news. The man even sent money to the boy to help him settle into university life.
Unfortunately, when the boy’s mother found out that he had informed the man about his admission, she punished him severely. The man was devastated by this turn of events and took to social media to express his feelings. He wondered why the boy’s mother would behave in such an ungrateful manner, especially considering the sacrifices he had made to help her son.
The man’s post has generated a lot of interest and debate online, with many people condemning the boy’s mother for her behavior. Others have praised the man for his kindness and generosity, and urged him not to be discouraged by the boy’s mother’s behavior.
