TikTok Star Jarvis Reveals Why She Hasn’t Married Peller Yet

TikTok sensation Amadou “Jarvis” Aminata has opened up about why her marriage to fellow content creator Habeeb “Peller” Hamzat has been delayed, despite the two being engaged since December 2024.

In July, Jarvis confirmed their engagement during an interview on Channels Television, expressing confidence about their relationship and future together. However, during a recent TikTok live session, the 23-year-old revealed that the delay is partly due to Peller’s age and financial instability.

“I’m old enough to get married, but his age is slowing me down,” Jarvis explained. “One day, Peller could change his mind and say I’m too old for him. I don’t want to pressure him into marriage at this age. I want him to grow, learn, and experience life.”

She added that while she plans to marry in three years, Peller’s unstable income is a major concern.
“Peller’s income isn’t consistent. It comes and goes. I still have many goals to achieve for myself, and I don’t want to be caged by marriage just yet,” she said.

Peller, however, denied that age was the issue, instead expressing fears of interference from Jarvis’ family.
“It’s a lie. Her dad could wake up one day and say he wants to take her away from Lagos. They can take her anytime, and she won’t be safe. She loves me a lot, but sometimes she acts like she’s 30,” he stated.

The couple previously made headlines after a viral video showed Peller pushing Jarvis following a Seyi Vibes concert in Lagos. The clip sparked rumors of abuse and fueled speculations about trouble in their relationship.

Jarvis later came forward to set the record straight, stressing that Peller had never abused or maltreated her.
“If he had ever raised his hand to hurt me, I would have ended things a long time ago,” she said.

Peller also defended himself, insisting that the video was taken out of context. According to him, the push seen on camera was not an act of violence but normal play between them. He added that he was only trying to protect Jarvis from a group of area boys who had approached them demanding money.

“I was trying to get her away from those guys. People twisted what they saw online, but there was nothing violent about it,” he clarified.

Despite the controversies, both Jarvis and Peller reassured fans that their relationship remains strong, emphasizing that they are focused on building a future together while navigating the pressures of fame and public scrutiny.
