Super Falcons’ Goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Jokingly Complains About Tough Pre-season at New Club

Super Falcons’ first-choice goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, has hilariously expressed her struggle with the intensity of pre-season training at her new club in England.

In a lighthearted post, Nnadozie said: “At this point, una need to go find another person wey go make una proud oo because me I don tire. Which kind pre-season be this naa. Not even funny jare. If I survive this week, straight to thanksgiving.”

The 23-year-old goalkeeper, who recently joined Brighton & Hove Albion, admitted that the rigorous training sessions have left her drained. She playfully asked Nigerians in the UK to prepare her for what to expect, saying those who had played in England before should have warned her.

Her comments drew laughter and support from fans, many of whom encouraged her to stay strong and keep pushing as the league season approaches.

Nnadozie, widely regarded as one of the best African goalkeepers, remains a fan favorite after her impressive performances for Nigeria at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
