The Lagos state police command has confirmed a case of a dog belonging to Salisu Mustapha mauling a security guard to death and has since the occurrence detained the owner of the dog.
Benjamin Hundeyin, the force PRO said “The police have apprehended the owner of the dogs following the unfortunate mauling of a security guard to death by three dogs at Pinnock Estate, Ilasan, Lekki”.
The Commissioner of police, Olanrewaju Ishola also reiterates the need for calmness as the case is being investigated
The attention of the Nigerian police force was drawn to the incident through various social media posts reporting the occurrence which occured at Pinnock Estate in Lekki area of Lagos state .
