According to a statement to Saturday Beats, Lekki tells the gripping story of Awase, a woman determined to change her life after falling in love with Kuye, the heir to the powerful Babatunde political dynasty. Her journey to redemption is soon threatened by the return of figures from her turbulent past, setting off a chain of blackmail, mystery, and unexplained disappearances.
As the plot unfolds, the Babatunde family’s desperation to safeguard their legacy and spotless public image pushes them to extreme measures.
