As Nigeria marks its 65th Independence Anniversary, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Obidike Chukwuebuka, has called on citizens to rally behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stressing that the country’s economic turnaround is imminent.
Speaking in a goodwill message on Tuesday, Chief Obidike praised the resilience of Nigerians despite prevailing economic challenges, noting that the current administration is laying the groundwork for long-term national growth.
He urged Nigerians not to lose faith, but to remain hopeful and supportive of the Tinubu-led government’s reforms, which he described as bold and necessary steps toward a prosperous future.
“President Tinubu is making strategic decisions that will soon yield visible results. Our economic prosperity is within reach. All we need is unity, patience, and unwavering support,” Obidike said.
He also commended the federal government for its ongoing infrastructural projects and efforts to stabilize the economy, adding that the sacrifices Nigerians are making today will not be in vain.
As the country reflects on 65 years of nationhood, Obidike emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in building a stronger Nigeria.
“This is not the time to give up. It is the time to believe in the vision of a better Nigeria and work together to achieve it,” he concluded.
