Lagos State Divisional Police Officer of Ijanikin Police Station, Lagos State Police Command, C.S.P Bolaji Olugbenga has been confirmed dead.
The Police Command in Lagos state has confirmed the death of C.S.P Olugbenga who was said to have died after he slumped in his office on Thursday evening.
The command Spokesman, SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the tragedy on Friday night to the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN.
However, details were not given about the cause of his deal but the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) gathered that he slumped and died before he could be rushed to a hospital on Thursday evening.
The news of the unfortunate incident has thrown officers at the station into mourning. Also, a Police officer from the division also confirmed that the body has been moved to a mortuary.
