Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye popularly known as Rude boy has accused his twin brother, Peter Okoye, former band mate popularly known as Mr P of stealing his song.
Paul calls out Peter’s management for allegedly re-recording his unreleased song which was intended to feature in his forthcoming album next year.
This follows the recent release of “Winning” by Mr P months after the duo confirmed their split.
However, things took a different turn when Rude boy via an Instagram post, claimed that the song was his from the beginning and was supposed to feature in his forthcoming album scheduled for 2025.
“Written and sang by Rudeboy. Produced by same producer. Now how come? Now am I supposed to release another version? Mr Producer, your case is for another day.
“Just a simple thing, bring 6 songs, let me bring 6 songs. I submitted 6 songs to the so-called management. Why re-singing my own song? word for word. Song that was supposed to be in my album next year June.” He wrote.
He also made several other posts regarding the incident on his Instagram story and even listed a couple other songs from the intended album.
“The days of manipulation are over, and to the management…. Make I hear any song wey na only me sing… I go release the original version….Oloriburuku! Music is not that hard.” He added.
