Nigerian singer-songwriter Spyro has sent heartfelt congratulations to Afrobeats star Davido and his wife, Chioma Adeleke, following their grand white wedding in Miami on August 10, 2025.
In an emotional Instagram post, Spyro reflected on their long-standing friendship, expressing gratitude for Davido’s support before his rise to fame.
“I don’t have many friends in the industry, but you, @davido, have stuck with me way before fame. So it pained me to only watch your wedding through videos, because you truly deserve the best, brother,” Spyro wrote.
He fondly recalled meeting Chioma for the first time in 2018, when he invited Davido to perform at his show at Hard Rock Café. Spyro remembered seeing Chioma’s photos adorning Davido’s walls, a sign of the love story that was already unfolding.
“I am super happy yet again, as I was privileged to witness the early stage of this love story. Now, several years later, you two are married. God will keep you together, in Jesus’ name. The enemy will not rejoice over this one. I love you, brother, and thank you for being you,” he added.
Although unable to attend the ceremony in person, Spyro said watching it virtually was deeply moving for him. His message has been widely shared by fans, serving as a reminder of loyalty, friendship, and shared history in the entertainment industry.
